Before embarking on this career, I qualified as a doctor and worked as a junior house officer in hospitals in Egypt and Kuwait. After a long break for family reasons I have gone back to work part time in the health industry.
I was first introduced to Homeopathy many years ago when it helped one of my children overcome an illness that traditional medicine was not able to help with. As a doctor married to a pharmacist, we were both very skeptical but were soon humbled by the quick and lasting benefit of the homeopathic treatment. During my career break, as a wife and mother of four, I continued to use homeopathy at home and knew how safe and effective it is. Seven years ago, I needed homeopathic treatment myself and that was the real eye opener for me. I found in homeopathy a gentle but deep healing system that encourages the patient to be more aware and in charge of their own health.
I have studied Homeopathy for four years at the North West College of Homeopathy in Manchester and received my liscence to practice in July 2007. This course and the professional qualification (LNWCH) are recognised by the Society of Homeopaths, the Alliance of Registered Homeopaths and the Homeopathic Medical Association.
I am a member of The Society of Homeopaths, the largest professional body for homeopaths in Great Britain and am bound to the Society's Code of Ethics and Practice.
